PACOIMA : 1 Killed, 1 Hurt in Drive-By Shooting
One teen-ager was killed and a second was wounded in a drive-by shooting in Pacoima, Los Angeles police said Wednesday.
Marcos Rivera, 18, was pronounced dead at Remington Street and Amboy Avenue after he suffered a single gunshot wound to the chest at 10:40 p.m. Tuesday, Lt. Bernard Conine said. Jose Escanuelas, 18, was hit in the arm, Conine said.
Conine said both victims were gang members, leading police to believe that the shooting was gang-related. No arrests had been made.
