Eating It Up: Another Orange County engineering firm, PCL Construction Services in Irvine, was recently awarded a $11.3-million contract to design and build a new commissary at March Air Force Base in Riverside County.
“It will be like a mega-grocery store--109,000 square feet,” said Jim Carlson, director of business development for the company. A typical grocery store has about 50,000 square feet.
