Tax-Averse Author Will Have to Pay

WASHINGTON — Irwin Schiff, author of “How Anyone Can Stop Paying Income Taxes,” will have to pay $44,200 in back taxes plus penalties of $48,948, the U.S. Tax Court ruled Friday.
Schiff’s latest book is “The Federal Mafia--How It Illegally Imposes and Unlawfully Collects Income Taxes.”
