Outfield: Tony Gwynn, Darrin Jackson, Jerald Clark, Oscar Azocar, Kevin Ward and Thomas Howard.
Starting pitchers: Bruce Hurst, Greg Harris, Andy Benes, Craig Lefferts and Dave Eiland.
Relief pitchers: Randy Myers, Larry Andersen, Mike Maddux, Jose Melendez, Pat Clements and Rich Rodriguez.

Hurst completed his final tuneup of the spring by allowing six hits and three earned runs in six innings. His next outing will be opening day in Cincinnati.
“I had a pretty good spring,” Hurst said. “I stayed healthy and didn’t get anybody killed.”
