Eighteen alleged gang members have been arrested during a two-month undercover investigation of a house where more than 40 gang members or associates stayed, police announced Thursday.

In early February, police began watching a home in the 900 block of North Keystone Street. Undercover officers followed people as they left the house and arrested them as they committed crimes, Police Capt. Randall W. Gaston said.

The suspects were held on suspicion of auto theft, burglary, robbery, theft, parole violation and unlawful use of a license.
