Jose Canesco, who was arrested two months ago after allegedly ramming his car into one being driven by his wife, has agreed to seek counseling.
The Oakland Athletics’ star, faced with an aggravated assault charge in Miami, consented to 26 one-hour sessions with a psychologist, psychiatrist, or psychotherapist.
If Canesco completes the once-a-week sessions, the charge will be dropped in November.
