Clinton’s Character

In response to “Clinton Tells of Marijuana Use in ‘60s,” March 30:

Frankly, I am tired of everything but substantive issues between the candidates making front-page news. The article stated that the disclosure “overshadowed one of the most substantive exchanges of the political season between the two rivals. . . .” The reason that this is the case, I feel, is that the media choose to sensationalize.

I was pleased that the issues were finally brought up in the article, but not until the last few paragraphs, and then not in any great depth.

Do us all a service. Let the issues that face the country and desperately need solutions be publicized, not more sensationalism of past personal deeds.
