Lunkers in Eyes of Beholder
San Diego’s El Capitan Reservoir doesn’t have the largest bass in the state, but these days the lake is giving fishermen all the action they want on smaller fish.
During a three-day period beginning last Friday, El Capitan produced 2,584 largemouth bass. Of those, 625 were at or over the 15-inch limit. Of those, only 151 were kept.
