Armed 10-Year-Old Is Arrested in Drug Sale

A 10-year-old boy had $1,000 cash, a loaded handgun and four bags of marijuana in his pockets when he was arrested on suspicion of drug selling, police said Monday.

“If he was a fish, you’d throw him back. He’s too small,” police Sgt. Mike Higgins said. An undercover officer saw the boy apparently making a sale to three men in a car, Higgins said.

The men in the car and the boy’s 20-year-old stepfather, who was with him, also were arrested.
