WEST COUNTY : VENTURA : Suspect Flees on Foot After Robbing Bank
A Bank of America office in Ventura was robbed Saturday morning, police said. No one was hurt in the 10:30 a.m. robbery at 1130 S. Victoria Ave., said Ventura Police Sgt. Douglas Auldridge.
The robber jumped in front of the customers standing in line and gave the teller a demand note, Auldridge said. The note claimed he had a weapon but none was seen, and the suspect got away with an undetermined amount of cash, Auldridge said. The robber fled on foot and police have no suspects.
