Envoy for Madagascar

COLUMBUS, Ohio —
President Bush will nominate Dennis P. Barrett as ambassador to Madagascar, the White House announced Monday. Barrett, 55, has been the Agency for International Development’s mission director in Pretoria, South Africa, since 1988. He would succeed Howard K. Walker.
