Budget Meals a Reality

I read in the April 2 Food Section the comment by Marilyn Simms entitled “Get Real About Meals” where she tries to scorch the “3 Meals, 4 People, $10 Dollars” article you ran Feb. 6.

I had lost my job, was on unemployment and was looking to stretch every penny I could to make ends meet during a very serious economic period.

Others, who are on fixed income, like my uncle who is on social security, needed an article like that one, and I thought to myself: “It’s about time.” I hope you continue to do articles like those.
