Close Call: Earlier this week on “CBS This Morning,” anchor Paula Zahn was handed a bulletin to read telling of a USAir jet that had to abort its takeoff from New York’s La Guardia Airport. As she read, Zahn realized that her husband, real estate developer Richard Cohen, was on the Boston-bound 6:30 a.m. shuttle. Keeping her composure, she got to the end of the report and happily learned that all aboard had escaped via emergency chutes and there were no injuries.
