VAN NUYS : Metrolink Fares to Be Addressed
Commuters planning to use Metrolink, the new long-distance commuter train, will have a chance to comment on proposed ticket prices at a public hearing in Van Nuys on Tuesday night.
Officials from the Southern California Regional Rail Authority will make a presentation on the proposed fares and then hear comments from the public at 6:30 p.m. in the Oral Arts Room at Birmingham High School at 17000 Haynes St.
The Van Nuys hearing is one of nine being held in Southern California until the end of May. Metrolink is scheduled to begin service in October.
