Golden West College President Judith Valles will be more than a role model next Saturday. She’ll also be a fashion model. Valles will be among volunteers modeling new lines of clothing during a “Fashion Show for Scholarships” from 11 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. at the Holiday Inn Huntington Beach, 7667 Center Drive, near Huntington Center.

The annual fashion show is sponsored by Patrons, a volunteer support organization for the community college.

The theme of the fashion show this year will be “A Sterling Celebration,” reflecting the 25th anniversary of the opening of Golden West College.
