The band Los Reos is an example of the skin-and-bones nature of American culture (“The Long and Winding Road,” by Bob Baker, March 29). How dare we claim we are culturally starved, or that such music is on the “fringe” when it is being held there against its will? I support Los Reos with all my being and see Fojo as my very own brother, even though we may never meet.
