CREW NEWPORT REGATTA : Orange Coast Wins Three Races to Take Overall Title

Orange Coast College won the overall title at the 27th Newport Regatta held Sunday morning on North Lido Channel.

OCC, with 22 points, won three races and claimed the P.A. Palmer Cup, which goes to the champion. San Diego State (14) was second and Cal State Long Beach (13) third.

OCC won the JV 8 in 6 minutes 15.75 seconds, the Frosh 8 in 6:10.01 and the Varsity 4 in 6:48.06.
