Slow Recovery Is Seen: America’s top corporate economists expect a slow economic recovery and one that may not be fully enjoyed by all the nation’s industries or regions, according to a report by the prestigious Business Council. “The most appropriate characterization of the economy and outlook continues to be ‘relatively sluggish growth,’ ” the economists said. The economists’ report will be delivered to the nation’s top corporate executives meeting this weekend at the exclusive Homestead resort in Hot Springs, Va.
