Destruction in Koreatown

Share

I want to voice my admiration of the Korean population in Los Angeles. After the recent events I feel they have ample reason to be angry and every right to voice their frustrations to the public. Despite having most everything they have worked so hard for destroyed, the Korean-Americans refrained from blaming anyone and instead gave out a positive message of cooperation.

I was thoroughly impressed by the interviews they gave to the media as well as their peace march. If they had said everything that was on their minds and let us all know how furious I’m sure some of them were, it would have inflamed a good number of people. The Korean-Americans’ plea for peace while enduring such violence is truly commendable. You are outstanding members of our community.
