Crann’s Departure

I, too, detest the pomposity that infects classical music deejays, but one must not stoop to the level of the “new” KUSC to attract younger listeners.

An example is Grice, as she continues to exasperate listeners with inane jokes. A couple of weeks ago she explained to us why baseball parks were so cool--the stands are filled with fans, of course. Yuk, yuk. Attract younger listeners, OK, but this kind of drivel bores even third-graders. The article was informative, though. At least we now know how she got her job.
