TouchStone Software Corp.: The Huntington Beach software company posted a first-quarter profit of $111,500, or 2 cents a share, more than double the $52,000, or 1 cent a share, it earned for the corresponding 1991 period. Revenue declined 10%, to $995,000 from $1.1 million. C. Shannon Jenkins, president and chief executive, attributed the gain in profit to efforts to control expenses.
