Shannon Miller of Edmond, Okla., led the women’s compulsory portion of the U.S. Gymnastics Championships at Columbus, Ohio.
Miller, 15, had a combined score of 47.22 points after the four events. Kim Zmeskal of Houston was second with 47.01; Michelle Campi of Carmichael, Calif., was third with 46.92.
