Gourmet water trendies, like the studio exec Griffin Mill in the film “The Player,” are about as virtuous as they come. You know the types--they can tell the big bubblers from the gentle bubblers.

So when we ran into a real-life Hollywood water drinker, we decided to see if these guys are for real. Our worst fears were validated.

This well-known actor/director was toting a liter-and-a-half plastic bottle of Volvic at a recent Beverly Hills soiree. But he admitted that “it’s just Arrowhead out of my big bottle at home.”

Wet Behind the Gears

Buzz has received word that the Harley-Davidson motorcycle company is coming out with a line of women’s swimwear. Because we always thought the stereotypical Harley rider would limit her water exposure to wet T-shirt contests, this comes as quite a surprise.

Ellie Collin, from Bartel’s Harley-Davidson in Marina del Rey, says the “leather look” suits haven’t arrived yet, but they’re receiving about 30 inquiries a week from prospective biker/swimmers. “It’s a matter of belonging to the Harley group,” says Collin about the response. “It’s a whole other culture.”

It’s probably only a matter of time before we see a line of evening wear.

Talking in Cycles

And while we’re on the subject of well-known domestic motorcycles, Buzz spotted this bumper sticker on a Harley parked in Hollywood: “Friends Don’t Let Friends Drive Japanese Motorcycles.”

Card for Sharks

The new way to fend off unwanted sexual come-ons is to hand the offender a business card.

“This card is to notify you that your attention is absolutely unwelcomed, unwanted and unsolicited,” says the new wallet-sized card being peddled by a company called JP-Cards in Rome, Ga.

“If you continue, I will consider it sexual harassment and will take appropriate action,” concludes the card.

How ‘90s.
