Kids’ Nature Festival Offers Trail, Booths

A special self-guided nature trail, undersea adventures, rocks, fossils and bones, and touch and feel for tots are some of the booths that will be on hand for the Kids’ Nature Festival on May 30 in Temescal Canyon.

The festival will also feature critters from the Wildlife Way Station, a tide pool touch tank and insects, lizards and more for kids to watch, examine and learn about.

Sponsored by Nursery Nature Walks, an organization that offers nature walks for families with babies through kindergartners, the festival will run from 10 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.

Advance reservation tickets can be ordered today and Wednesday, and tickets can also be purchased the day of the event at a slightly higher cost. Call (310) 476-4084.
