After the Riots : NEWS IN BRIEF : DEATH TOLL : Burned Body Found in Riot Rubble
The death toll in the riots has risen with the discovery of a body in the burned rubble of a South Main Street warehouse. Nearly 60 deaths are attributed to the riots. The badly burned, decomposed body has not yet been been identified.
According to arson investigators, the building had been broken into, looted, then set on fire during the riots. The discovery means a total of five people--including one other person who has not yet been identified--died from fires set during the rioting.
