The creator of Carhenge--the automotive likeness of England’s ancient Stonehenge--wants to promote American products, so he will remove one of three Japanese cars from the sculpture.

“We want to bash Japan in our own little way,” said Jim Reinders, a retired engineer from Albuquerque, N.M. He put a Toyota, Subaru and Honda in the Carhenge he built from old cars in 1987.

The Toyota and Subaru are among 16 cars buried trunk down, sticking 11 feet into the air. Reinders will replace the Honda, which sits atop two cars.
