Chevys for Estonia: General Motors Corp. said it will sell Chevrolet cars and trucks through a distributor in Estonia, its first marketing of North American-built vehicles in the Baltic states. The deal with Balt Motors in the capital of Tallin will involve about 200 vehicles this year. GM will train mechanics to service the vehicles, which will go on sale in midsummer. The Chevrolet Cavaliers, Suburbans, Blazers and pickup trucks will join Opel cars from GM’s subsidiary in Germany as the second line Balt will handle. GM said it expects soon to sign more dealer agreements in the Baltics and in other new states of the former Soviet Union.
