'Charlie and Harrigan' to Return

Oldies station KCBQ-FM (105.3) has fired its morning team to make way for the return of "Charlie and Harrigan"--Jack Woods and Paul Menard--the station's morning team from 1976 to 1984.

They will replace Jeff MacNeal and Lani Mazzerati, the station's morning team for the past 10 months. "Charlie and Harrigan" are expected to start sometime in June, according to program director Dino Matela. Producer Dan Mitchenson will fill the slot in the interim.

"Charlie and Harrigan" recently reunited for a week on KCBQ to fill in for the morning show, and management felt they would be appropriate for the station's oldies format.

"We've been together since 1965, so I don't think there is going to be a timing problem," Harrigan said.
