Venice : Job Bank for Youths
A job bank for young people who live in Venice will open Tuesday.
Venice residents from 14 to 25 years old may use the free service, which will be housed in the Westminster Senior Center at 1234 Pacific Ave. The three-month pilot program will be open from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. Tuesday and Thursday and from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday. The bank will be staffed and provide job listings and use of a telephone.
The grand opening is set for 3 p.m. Tuesday.
Employers are encouraged to call the service at (310) 396-0143 to register job opportunities.
