American, Home Savings Swapping Branches: American Savings Bank said it would swap nine of it branches, all but one in San Diego County, for eight Home Savings of America branches in Northern California. The Home Savings branches have $350 million in deposits, while the nine American Savings branches have $327 million in deposits. The deal is expected to be final in the third quarter.
