ARTY PARTY: Today’s Oaks Classic, a horse-jumping show thrown each spring by heiress Joan Irvine Smith at her San Juan Capistrano stables, will have a new twist. The guest list includes about 300 art connoisseurs. And ringside will be 14 booths manned by dealers in California impressionist art. . . . Smith calls it a “coming-out party” for a museum she plans to open in Irvine to show California impressionist art, especially landscapes depicting early Orange County.
