MiniScribe Fraud Settlement: Former executives, accountants and investment bankers involved with the defunct disc-drive maker MiniScribe Corp. have agreed to pay $128.1 million to settle fraud charges. Greg Ruegsegger, the attorney representing MiniScribe’s trustee, said he reached an agreement in principle with more than 60 plaintiffs involved in the suits. The settlement must be approved by a federal judge in Denver and the U.S. bankruptcy judge overseeing MiniScribe’s liquidation.
