The meetings bring business and government leaders together to discuss economic problems.

Representing the county government at today’s meeting will be Tom Berg, director of the Resource Management Agency, and Keith Turner, director of planning.

A member of Simi Valley’s planning department has also been invited to attend.

In an interview, Howard urged business leaders who have had difficulty processing their plans with city or county staff members to attend the meeting and air their concerns.

She said the suggestions made at the meeting will be passed on to a countywide panel that is reviewing economic vitality issues.
