James T. Kelley has joined Optima Asset Management Services Inc. in Newport Beach as executive vice president of hospitality services. In his new position, he will assist troubled hospitality and resort properties through receivership, reorganization and workouts. Kelly was formerly founding president of the Irvine Hotel Co., a subsidiary of the Irvine Co. Before that, he was a senior vice president with Hyatt Hotels Corp.’s development subsidiary, and Ford Motor Co.’s real estate development director.
