After the Riots / NEWS IN BRIEF : DONATIONS : Mormons Supply Food and Cash

The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints has provided $25,000 in food and other commodities from its welfare distribution center in Colton. The supplies have been distributed to various interfaith and community service agencies in Long Beach and South Los Angeles. In addition, more than $36,000 in cash and goods has been contributed by Mormon congregations throughout Southern California.
