AS IT BEGAN: When Jean Aldrich read “UCI: The First 25 Years,” she thought it “captured the spirit of people who worked so hard together.” The new coffee-table book is dedicated to Aldrich--identified as UCI’s “First Lady Extraordinarii”--and her late husband, Daniel G. Aldrich Jr., its first chancellor. . . .
