Live Entertainment Gets $10-Million Line of Credit

Live Entertainment Inc. said it has obtained a two-year, $10-million line of revolving credit for its specialty retail division.

The 138-store specialty retail unit includes Strawberries Music, Movies & More, a retail chain in the eastern United States, and the Waxie Maxie music chain in Maryland and Virginia.

Live, a Van Nuys-based company that also distributes videocassettes, said the credit line would help its retail unit maintain “proper inventory levels” and to proceed with store expansions and remodelings.
