Service Set for Chet Lieb, Former Dean at USC
A memorial service is scheduled at 3 p.m. Friday for Irwin C. (Chet) Lieb, former dean and vice president of USC’s College of Letters, Arts and Sciences who died May 23.
The service will be in the Hilborn Synagogue of Hebrew Union College, at 32nd and Hoover streets in Los Angeles.
The family has asked that any memorial contributions be made to an undergraduate scholarship in philosophy established in Lieb’s name at the University of Texas.
