Girl Survives Fall From 2nd-Story Window

A 3-year-old girl was listed in good condition Tuesday night after falling two stories from a window in a North Hollywood apartment and landing on concrete.

The child, identified by authorities as Tangier Laury, was conscious and crying about 8 p.m. after she fell from an apartment building at 11621 Sylvan St., Los Angeles Fire Department spokesman Bob Collis said.

Tangier was taken to Fair Avenue Elementary School and transported by air ambulance to Childrens Hospital. She was listed in good condition at the hospital, nursing supervisor Gayle Coffey said.
