2 Students Receive National Merit Grants

Two area students have received National Merit Scholarships.
Wendy E. Werges is a student at Glendale High School and plans to attend UC Santa Barbara. Grant H. Kushida of La Canada High School plans to attend Harvey Mudd College in Claremont.
The scholarships are awarded each year by the nonprofit National Merit Scholarship Corp.
