* * 1/2 Meli’sa Morgan, “Still in Love With You,” Pendulum/Elektra. Although Morgan writes most of her own material, she’s always been best interpreting other people’s hits. In the title track she gives Al Green’s 1972 hit such a soulful jolt that she breathes new life into what was already an R&B; classic. Elsewhere on this album, Morgan tries hard but her instincts don’t deliver as satisfyingly, and she’s still searching for her own musical identity.
