SDSU Cuts
I don’t think anyone has addressed the amount of money that will be lost to San Diego State University when pink-slipped professors take their research grant money elsewhere.
It’s a loss to the university and to all of us when grants from such (organizations) as the American Cancer Society, the National Institute of Health, the American Medical Assn. and other public and private granting agencies leave San Diego and go out of state. Not only does the school’s prestige suffer, but also vital time on projects like AIDS research is lost.
