Legal Shuffle: Conchata Ferrell is definitely gone and Amanda Donahue is probably history too, but A Martinez, star of the daytime soap “Santa Barbara,” will add his name to the “L.A. Law” shingle this fall. Ferrell, who played obnoxious attorney Susan Bloom, joins Susan Dey and Michael Cumpsty on the list of actors who will not return for the NBC series’ seventh year. Donahue and Anthony DeSando are still negotiating with the show’s producers but are likely to leave the show as well, said sources close to the negotiations. John Masius and John Tinker, former producers of “St. Elsewhere,” have been tapped to oversee the series, which suffered ratings decline, critical attacks and behind-the-scenes upheaval last year.
