COUNTYWIDE : FBI Seeks Robber of at Least 7 O.C. Banks
Federal authorities on Monday said they were looking for a man suspected of robbing at least seven Orange County banks since March.
Based on descriptions and his method of operation, the FBI suspects he has robbed banks in La Habra, Santa Ana, Fountain Valley and Anaheim, said Gary Morley, a bureau spokesman in Santa Ana.
The FBI has not identified the man, Morley said.
The robber uses a note that reads “You Are Being Robbed,” Morley said.
Authorities describe the man as black, six feet tall and between 24 and 30 years old.
He is cleanshaven and his hair is shaved close on the sides and flat on top, Morley said.
The FBI asks anyone with information about the man to call the Santa Ana office at (714) 542-8825.
