52-Week T-Bill Rate Falls: Interest rates on 52-week Treasury bills fell at auction to their lowest level since January. The average discount rate was 3.93%, down from 4.07% at the last auction May 28. It was the lowest rate since 52-week bills averaged 3.84% on Jan. 9. The bills will carry an equivalent coupon interest rate of 4.11%, with each $10,000 in face value selling for $9,602.60. Sales totaled $14.30 billion out of bids of $44.29 billion.
