BE Aerospace Inc.: The Santa Ana manufacturer of seating products and entertainment systems for commercial aircraft posted net income of $2.4 million, or 22 cents a share, for the first quarter of its current fiscal year. That was up 71% from the $1.4 million, or 19 cents a share, for the same period a year earlier. Sales for the quarter ended May 30 soared to $45.1 million from $6.8 million, largely because of recent acquisitions.
