AND THE WINNER IS? San Clemente Mayor Joseph Anderson and Dana Point’s then-Mayor Mike Eggers wagered on which city could conserve more water during Water Awareness Month in May. The loser would have to buy a low-flow toilet for the winner. . . . Problem is, now they can’t agree on who won. Both cities saved, but they’re taking a new look at the figures. Says Eggers: “I would normally call it a draw, but I don’t want to share a toilet with Joe Anderson.”
