‘Murphy Brown’ Continued

I’m sick of “Murphy Brown” being called a corrupter of values. She is not an unmarried teen who wanted to bear a child in order to have adult-like powers. Rather, she is a powerful, educated fortysomething who got pregnant accidentally and chose not to abort. I predict that Eldin Bernecky, her painter, will be a much better “father” for the baby than many husbands are to their own children.
