Lee A. Deets has been appointed executive vice president of Metalclad Corp., as well as director of operations for the company’s environmental services division. Deets is the former chairman and chief executive of Encycle Texas Inc., a division of Asarco Ltd. Before that, he was a principal in A.T. Kearney Inc., an international management consulting firm, where he assisted corporations entering the hazardous-waste management industry. He was also technical director to the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency. Metalclad, based in Anaheim, develops hazardous-waste management facilities in Mexico, and provides industrial insulation services and insulation material sales.
