Lean to Left, Lean to Right

Re Thomas W. Graham’s letter (TV Times, June 21) about “left-leaning PBS”: We find his opinion to be somewhat narrow-minded in the respect that there are liberal shows on PBS, just as there are liberal shows on regular channels, and just as there are conservative shows on both PBS and normal programming.

To say that PBS has a “liberal agenda,” one must view a very small portion of the available programming. If Mr. Graham feels that shows such as “Newton’s Apple,” “Sesame Street” and “Mr. Rogers Neighborhood” are liberal, then what is to be considered conservative?
